About Us
Square Groupe is a Geneva-based investment company specializing in private equity and real estate.
Founded by Philippe Guerrand, a former investment banker in Paris, Singapore and Geneva, and who created and managed a €250m investment fund, Square Groupe is a major player in private equity and real estate in Switzerland.
Square Groupe is focused on value creation, sustainability and ESG issues, and on adapting to the major trends in investment and asset management.

Private Equity and Real Estate
we invest in real assets (companies and real estate) in Europe (in particular Switzerland, France, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy) in order to capture investment opportunities and be close to our investment to manage them. We combine innovation and know-how to optimize the return on each investment by creating value on each of them.
Corporate Services
We offer family office and large corporations a full range of Corporate Services, enabling them to structure their operations with a flexibility adapted to today's economic transformations. Our team helps companies structure and develop on solid foundations, while remaining agile in an ever-changing environment.
Investing in ESG products
We value trust, commitment and reliability, our three pillars for building long-term relationships, a better investment environment and a more easy and direct route to direct assets.

Square Groupe offers its expertise with three main activities:
Hospitality
We selected hotels as the main focus on our real estate strategy: Square Groupe aims to build a strategic portfolio of ten hotels located in Paris Intramuros by end 2025. This process has already begun with the acquisition of an Accor-franchised 3-star Ibis Style hotel in the 19th arrondissement of Paris and several hotels under offer. We identify 2 and 3-star hotels, often under-utilized but with considerable growth potential, which we transform through thorough renovations. These renovations not only enhance the customer experience, but also guarantee sustainability and an ESG angle with BREEAM certification, a global standard for ecological standards in real
estate.
We also consider other opportunistic acquisition with off-market acquisitions in attractive geographical areas including the very high mountains and the
Retiring family-owned companies
We source and select investments in companies with physical assets (machinery, plants, inventories) but without any successors. Many baby boomers are coming into the retiring age and we target companies with great potential and assets. We aim at taking a majority stake in these companies in order to pilot the strategy and add our expertise to deliver higher returns.

Phillipe Guérant
Founder of Square Groupe
Philippe, has over 15 years in real estate and finance. Before establishing Square in 2022, he was a partner at Geneva-based Maya Global Markets SA, overseeing major real estate deals and collaborations with renowned investors like Blackstone and Oaktree Capital.
Céline Odermatt
Managing Director
Céline is Managing Director at Square Groupe, overseeing Corporate Services and serving on the investment committee. She brings 15 years of finance experience, including roles at Corpag and Trust International.
Jérôme Girod
Investor relations
Jérôme is Investor Relations Director at Square Groupe, responsible for investor origination, network development, and family office relations. With 14 years of sales experience across sectors, he specializes in client service and is our relationship expert.
Jonathan Masson
Project Manager
Jonathan is Project Manager at Square Groupe, specializing in the technical aspects of real estate projects. He has over 20 years of experience in construction and renovation across residential and hospitality sectors.
Yann Leneveu
Analyste
Yann is an Analyst at Square Groupe, focusing on transaction analysis, execution, and investment committee presentations. A NEOMA graduate, he has a strong background in finance and private equity.
